EQIPD Newsletter 6 – Spring 2020

The EQIPD project was highlighted in a recent publication by DDNews and will be featured at this year’s ECNP ‘campfire sessions’,  the ‘Handbook on Good Research Practice in Non-Clinical Pharmacology and Biomedicine’ about quality in preclinical research has just been published, and the Global Preclinical Data Forum (GPDF) is giving out an award on the best NEGATIVE DATA in an effort to counter the bias towards solely positive results in science.

    The Research Transparency Tool was developed by the EQIPD Consortium Taskforce and implemented online with support from a SBIR award from the NIH: https://public-funding-tool.paasp.net/survey The tool creates a “snapshot” of the environment in which research is conducted and is meant to help funders and applicants align on relevant quality expectations.
